Hi,
I'm not sure if the info about bandwidth limits (helpdesk, ~200mb/month) concerns publicshare-folders and webspace.
what is the fair-use range for free (verified) accounts?
thank you!

The bandwidth usage only includes downloading of your own files. If you are accessing public area, or our HTML and graphics files, those are not part of your bandwidth usage.

However, if you host a website for others to download your files, that download usage, including by other users, is counted as using your bandwidth.

that's true.

ok, so.. overall limit equals 200mb/month, then its locked until next period? seems to be very low for a "homepage" (I do not intend using it as a pure fileserver). would be nice to have a buffer for peak traffic .. especially when providing some streaming media.

Hi, FYI, files less than 7KB are not included in the bandwidth calculation; when you host small files, DriveHQ automatically offer 25% more bandwidth even if you have reached your bandwidth limit. Now please understand that we need to generate revenue to stay in this business. We have lots of free users later upgrade their service to premium service. It is only $2.99/month and if you pay annually, you pay only 10 months per year, another 2 months off!

If you have very  nice contents, and if you are willing to help promote our service, we can offer you extra bandwidth. Please send emails to support@drivehq.com
