Does anyone know why? I have just completed Syncing a folder on my computer, which has 2,111 files, but when I check the files on the server, there's only 2,067. Is there a reason for this mismatch even though the synchronization is complete? Please let me know, and thanks for your help!

This is possible as DriveHQ client applications can automatically filter certain temporary files based on file extensions. By default, these file types are filtered:

 ~*.tmp, ~*.*, Thumbs.db, *part

The setting can be changed in the settings.ini in the application folder.
