Hi, I'm using Dreamweaver and it is asking me for an FTP adress to log on to a server. Would the address be ftp.drivehq.com? If not, what would it be?

The FTP server is ftp.drivehq.com; or if you have a paid account, you can also use proFTP.drivehq.com.

To host a website or publish files/folders on DriveHQ, you must be a Paid Member or True Member. For paid members, the website is usually automatically published. For true members, you need to logon www.drivehq.com, go to My Storage, then click on Publish, Publish My Website, then Enable / Disable. You must disable your website and re-enable it.

Once your website is published, you can upload your files to the wwwhome folder. Files in wwwhome folder can be linked as:

http://USERNAME.drivehq.com/FILENAME

To use web authoring / web publishing software with our service, you need to publish your website first. Then in the FTP configuration page, enter ftp.drivehq.com as the FTP server, the default folder should be: \wwwhome

The web URL should be: http://USERNAME.drivehq.com/

Hi, I have a bit diffrent problem when trying to connect to my ftp by using Windows Explorer like ftp://USERNAME:PASSWORD@ftp.drivehq.com, but it doesn't work any more, can you tell me why??

Please check with your internet connection. You amy also try: ftp.drivehq.com and right click on any white space at Windows Explore (my computer) -> log on as. You may access your account by typing your correct username and password.

Hi my camera software needs the server address as numbers not ftp.drivehq.com.  Can you help?  I'm unpaid just trialling  at the moment.

For IP cameras, please visit http://www.cameraftp.com/, CameraFTP is a subsidiary of DriveHQ.  It is optimized for IP cameras.

Please note you cannot use DriveHQ's FTP service for IP cameras.

To get the IP address of CameraFTP's FTP server, you can use the "ping" command. The IP address is 66.220.9.45
