My intention was to create a timelapse photo and to just "check in" periodically.   I see that somehow it is logging events.  I don't want this.  I have turned off event notification so I am not getting emails but there is still an event captured for every time lapse photo which is unneccessary.  Is there a way to not capture each snapshot as an event?

 Yes, you can. Just log on to www.cameraFTP.com, go to My Account page, then click Account Option. Set "Minimum interval between 2 events" to "Never send". Then click Save. Please see the screenshot below.
