Quezon City Mayor Herbert "Bistek" Bautista has promoted traffic enforcer Sol Botilla, who apprehended him for beating the red light on Tomas Morato, reports Inquirer.net.

At around 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve, Botilla stopped Bautista, who was not accompanied by security escorts at the time. Botilla said he did not recognize the mayor, whom he thought was a Chinese national. Bautista said in the Inquirer.net report, "He only recognized me when I spoke and acknowledged the (traffic) violation."

According to Inquirer.net, Bautista asked Botilla to see him in his office the following day but the latter did not go, afraid of being punished. The Monday after, during the city hall's flag raising ceremony, Bautista commended Botilla, promoting him to supervisor and rewarding him with P10,000.

Botilla, 47, who has been a traffic enforcer of the Quezon City Department of Public Order and Safety for 10 years, said he will use the money to pay for his children's tuition.

This coming Silver Reunion of Saint Rose Catholic School High School Class of 1986, there is a plan to stage the Millennium Man(The Musical). I still need to contact Adelia and Elenita for the roles of Jennifer and Jessica though. Here are the 20 songs for the intended mounting of the novel. It's not the one mounted by Araullo University or taken from HIWAGA's Leandro but more "ante" based on my FDFPI script.

About 15 original compositions and 5 "on the market songs" will be presented on the musical. Here is the gist of the original script submitted to CCP's FDFPI in 1998.

The Millennium Man(ALPHA ONE)
The MAN and The Protege "Time is just a concept of MAN." Lancelot Rodriguez is an accomplished young professional. At the age of 25, he has a stable job, lives in his own apartment and drives his own car. Graduated Summa Cum Laude major in Psychology, he lives a serene and peaceful life. But when his girlfriend Jessie went to Seattle for a programming job, he was never been lonelier. Jennifer Sandoval is an undercover agent for the National Bureau of Investigation. With her excellent forensic techniques, she is distinguished as the youngest agent with the most number of cases solved. To her credits include the celebrated Antipolo Massacre case, the Rolito Go case, and the Chop-Chop Lady case. A graduate of Pathological Medicine, her current case leads to dead ends, except one unlikely suspect, Lance Rodriguez! When the peaceful world of Lance and the regimented but fast-paced life of Jenny collides, life for both will never be the same again. From the chaotic streets of Manila to the moody streets of Vancouver, B.C., we follow Lance's plight and Jenny's quest for truth and justice. As Jenny stumbles over a large conspiracy of networks involving even the highest officials in the Bureau, her assets slowly disappears one by one. She must team-up with Lance and move heaven and hell, if only for both of them to survive. One important question must be answered though, "Who is Tommy Lee?"
The Millennium Man(Shadow Nights)
The MAN and The Shadow "The nature of MAN is to fight back!" After a brief training in Kaoshiung, Taiwan, Jennifer is back in Manila in pursuit of a suspect known only as "The Shadow". The Shadow is known to be originally from Long Island, New Yourk where a series of murders that spans from New York to Manila is investigated. Suddenly the appearance of a well-seasoned gentleman in Jennifer's life gives her a dilemma. Isshe falling in love with "old" Ricky? Meanwhile, Lancelot is busy preparing to tie the knots when several mysterious events continue to haunt him. Will he be able to put up all the pieces of the puzzle in time? With the help of a warlock named Arman, he was able to show Jenny that what she feels is just an illusion. Or is it? When fantasy collides with reality, which will you prioritize? Although Jennifer was elated by her promotion, her partner's demise proved to be devastating for her. What really happened to Nancy? With the help of a new partner, Karenina Norova, will she be able to solve her new assignment? From the bustling corridors of the training grounds in Taiwan to the romantic night spots of Manila, once again, Lance and Jenny will be drawn close together in an intriguing story of mystery, deception and danger. If they were able to hurdle the challenges before, this time, they are not alone!

The MAN and The Legend "MAN is a sapient being." The death of a sexy actress has created a media hype. It is the gruesome manner of how she died that made it a sensation...Chp-chop style. And it is not an isolated case. She is the fourth to suffer that fate in a month on a radius of five miles. All victims are young beautiful women. Jennifer was summoned from her base primarily for her background on similar cases. With the help of a new partner, Eddie, they are sent back-to-back to solve the case. After his aborted marriage to Jessie and the discovery of his real parentage, Lancelot resigned from his job and decided to join the Bureau. He starts as a criminal psychologist. With both of them as part of the force now, they are to face danger which is legendary in proportion. A legend that seems to be just a legend...until now!
