Online Backup is designed to backup any files, including e-mail and database files.  Email Manager, however, is optimized for backing up individual emails stored in Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express or Windows Mail.  In other words, you can open individual emails that are stored on DriveHQ's servers, whereas with Online Backup you don't have that ability unless you restore the entire .pst file in Outlook.
