High School Diploma/GED

1 or more years of direct care experience with young children; and 10 or more clock hours of state approved training. Generally works as a teachers assistant.



Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early childhood Education or Child Development Associate (CDA) or Para-professional Certification or Associate Degree (AA/AS or AAS/AAT) in a non-ECE related field. Subs can be placed in a Lead Teacher position.



Associate Degree (AA/AS or AAS/AAT) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or a Bachelor’s in a non-ECE related field. Or Bachelor Degree (BA/BS) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
