Rapid Plastic Solutions LLC is located in the beautiful Pikes Peak region of Americas’ Rocky Mountains. The focus at RPS is to be more than just an injection molder. We will be THE solution to your plastics production needs. Using the latest available technology and through our innovation we deliver only the highest quality American-made plastic parts, on time, at affordable prices.
Rapid Plastic Solutions believes in U.S. manufacturing. We source much of our technology and materials from inside the U.S. We believe you should be able to also. Rapid Plastic Solutions will manufacture your products or components right here in the U.S. with a globally competitive cost and lead time. RPS supplies some of the most difficult parts to some of the most demanding service industries on earth, or above it.
Plastic injection molding is our core business. RPS can rapidly engineer and build both stand alone and industry standard Master Unit Die (MUD) plastic injection molds. From simple to complex, single to multi-cavity we have injection molding solutions that fit your needs. We offer some of the most advanced CAD CAM (link) technology available combined with diverse and highly trained craftsman. Our designers, mold makers and journeyman machinists collaborate on each project to bring you a quality tool that can deliver consistently accurate parts for years.
Plastic injection molding is a manufacturing process whereby heated plastic resin is injected into precision machined metal mold cavities under high pressure. When cooled it then solidifies into the desired shape. This process is used to produce parts which range from the very simple to the highly complex. Injection molding machines, typically called “presses” fitted with your custom American built RPS tooling can duplicate a single plastic part accurately millions of times in some cases. We will assist you in sourcing a material that provides the required properties, such as ultraviolet or chemical resistance, tensile strength, dimensional stability, etc.
In addition to molding, we can perform for you a variety of secondary operations, including machining, sonic welding, kitting and assembling to make your parts as ready for use as possible. When your product is ready, you choose how it’s packaged and how it’s shipped. We can ship to your facility or directly to amazon(tm). Package and label design service, auto-bagging and 3D product renderings used in presentations or for web are available to help you create your vision, here in the USA.
If your project requires high production or medical sterility, we can design and build you in-house robotic end-of-arm tooling solutions that fit your specific needs.
RPS will assist you with the rapid prototyping of almost any shape. We will create an accurate prototype from your STL file or CAD drawing in just days, 24 hour lead times are also available. You will be able to verify design, fit and function without the time and higher costs of machining processes or prototype injection molding. Don’t have a CAD file of your part? Check out our design(link) page, we offer services that can help get you one.
3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing (AM), refers to processes used to synthesize a three-dimensional object. Successive layers of material are laid down under computer control. Objects can be of almost any shape or geometry and are produced using digital model data from your 3D model or another electronic data source such as an additive manufacturing file (AMF).
Need a part to test your concept? Get ahead on your latest project or your competition. Wether you are a business, entrepreneur, inventor or hobbyist looking for a solution, contact us (link) today to upload your files or discuss your 3d printing or prototyping needs.
RPS is an American business that supports American manufacturing. We are proud to use high quality 3D printers that are made here in the USA. We print and ship PLA, ABS, HIPS, HDPE, TPU (i.e., flexible filament), PC and some composites such as metal, carbon fibre or wood filled. Our build size is currently 200 mm (8”) x 250 mm (10”) x 200 mm (8”).
We will transform your vision into a physical reality. From there it’s up to you. Who knows, the next step might be a production quality injection molded part. RPS has the experience and a solution to take you each step of the way.
