MARINA CONSTRUCTION STARTED

With big ceremony at 22 February 2007 with the participation of the Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim. With a budget of $50 million, Altinkum Marina will bring all year around truism for the area. Altinkum Marina has been located around the third beach area and would become the biggest marina of the Aegean and the Mediterranean seas.
Project is taken over by Dogus Group and will be complete by summer 2009. Marina�s usage area will be total of 287000 m2. Marina will have yacht club, helicopter port, a capacity of 623 berthed yachts and 600 yachts in dry dock, a yacht lift for 100 to 300 tonnes and swimming pool.

Also in the facility area included with shopping centre, supermarkets, fitness centre and sport facilities, banks, petrol station, restaurants and information centres. Marina will also have a customs office for international entries. Some of the cruises and boat trips will start giving the services to there clients. With all these facilities marina will bring the new businesses to the area.
