Reflection #2

Like my experiences in my two other IT classes and at work, most computer software is extremely time-consuming to learn. I end up putting hour after hour into them to seemingly do the smallest of tasks. Then, of course, I suddenly end up with a neat finished product in the end. This was true with Dr. Counts' digital photo gallery, Flash, and digital video projects.

My biggest frustration so far has been in just moving or updating folders. A couple of times I have really messed up an entire activity. I have made back-up copies, and next time I may just try to delete a whole folder on my web space and reload it from my copy. I also got in trouble when I went back in and organized the stuff I already had on my web space, but I think I'm in good shape now.

JavaScript was a little tricky - the difference between just the text and the HTML code. Even the smallest extra word or space threw the whole thing off. I think the sources provided for free script will come in very handy in my future web designing.
