Interlibrary Loan Searching

Library Express searches various library locations to retrieve the materials for the daily Interlibrary Loan requests, then delivers them to Digital Production Services for copying, updating, and scanning.

As a back-up, Digital Production does this searching when Library Express staff are called to do special projects, such as Storage moves.

These ILS requests amount to over 30,000 searches per year.

At the Thomas Cooper Library of the University of South Carolina, patrons use ILL Express! and can choose their own username and password. http://ill2.tcl.sc.edu/default.html
