RAPID

RAPID is another system through which Interlibrary Loan requests are processed. Institutions which are members of RAPID receive and fill those requests on a higher priority than regular ILLiad requests. It was developed by the Colorado State University Library after they lost much of their collection to water damage in 1997.

UT Libraries became a member of RAPID in Spring 2002 and now fills over 7000 requests annually through this system.
