Resends

Part of the Interlibrary Loan process is handling requests to resend articles. Problems can occur on the scanning end or the receiving end. Sometimes a page is missing from the article or it misfed when going through the scanner. These requests are either rescanned, or sometimes they have to be entirely searched again.

Another cutting-edge digital resource is the Publishers' Bindings Online, 1815-1930: The Art of Books , an IMLS funded project with The University of Alabama Libraries as the lead institution, working with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries. There are currently 3,505 new records in the PBO database relating to the study of 19th and early 20th century American book covers.
